I'm Stephen.

Born and raised in Western Australia since the 1960s, I have spent my life developing a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of the Australian landscape and its wildlife.

A secondary mathematics teacher by profession, I bring the same patience, precision and curiosity to my photography that I have developed teaching.

A devoted husband of 35 years and father of two, I treasure the simple moments that make life meaningful. My passion for local fauna has naturally led me to a particular fascination with birds, capturing their character, colour and fleeting moments in their natural environment.

Each photograph reflects a genuine love and respect for the wildlife I encounter. My hope is that these images will allow others to pause, appreciate and connect with the remarkable creatures that share our Australian home.
